Ultimate Discovery Tour - Abrolhos, Pink Lake and River Gorges Adventure From Kalbarri

- Duration: 390 Minutes (approx.)
- Location: Kalbarri, WA
- Product code: Flight 9
Begin your morning with a scenic departure from Kalbarri, flying over the township before tracking south along the majestic coastal cliffs that tower above Gantheaume Bay. These striking red sedimentary cliffs are over 400 million years old and were once part of an ancient coral reef system.
Continue west across the Indian Ocean to the remarkable Abrolhos Islands — a chain of 122 islands and coral reefs located approximately 65 kilometres offshore. The Abrolhos are the southernmost true coral reef system in the Indian Ocean, one of the world’s highest-latitude reef systems, and an important seabird breeding area.
Land on East Wallabi Island and enjoy a short walk to Turtle Bay, where the morning is spent swimming and snorkelling in calm, protected reef waters.
Relax over an included lunch with tea and plunger coffee, with Standard, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options available, then join a guided nature walk to discover birdlife, neighbouring islands, and limestone cave formations.
On the return flight to Kalbarri, enjoy aerial views over the Abrolhos coral atolls, the historic Batavia shipwreck site, and the vivid Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake near Port Gregory. After circling the lake, continue inland to Kalbarri National Park for a bird’s-eye view of the Murchison River gorges, before landing back at Kalbarri Airport.
