Abrolhos Islands Afternoon Tour from Geraldton
Begin your tour with a scenic flight over Geraldton and the Indian Ocean to the stunning Abrolhos Islands, a remote chain of 122 islands located around 65 kilometres off the Western Australian coast.
The Abrolhos are the southernmost true coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, one of the world’s highest-latitude reef systems, and an important breeding site for thousands of seabirds. The region is renowned for its vibrant coral gardens, diverse marine life, and frequent sightings of sea lions, dolphins, and seasonal whales.
Your flight first passes over the Pelsaert Group before continuing north to the Wallabi Group, where you’ll land on East Wallabi Island. Here, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea with tea and coffee included, set against a backdrop of turquoise bays and tranquil island scenery.
On your return flight to Geraldton, take in sweeping aerial views of the island atolls and the site of the Batavia shipwreck, where the Dutch vessel was lost in 1629, leading to one of the most dramatic maritime mutiny stories in history.
