Fly north along the stunning Coral Coast, taking in sweeping views of sandy beaches and brilliant blue ocean before reaching the vivid pink expanse of Hutt Lagoon. The lake’s remarkable colour is created by naturally occurring Dunaliella salina algae, which produces beta-carotene in response to high salinity and sunlight.

Covering approximately 70 square kilometres and lying just below sea level, the Pink Lake is fed by marine springs and offers a spectacular contrast against the surrounding coastline. Enjoy multiple circuits over the lake to fully appreciate its colour before returning south along the coast and over the town to Geraldton Airport.
